Elvis Presley – One Night

One of Elvis’ more rocking tunes, One Night (With You), was a hit for the singer in 1957. Written by Dave Bartholomew, Pearl King, and Anita Steinman, it was an R&B hit for Smiley Lewis in 1956. Elvis took the original lyrics, made a few small but weighty changes, and the rest is history. His rendition was a staple of his shows from that point on and one of the best recorded versions is from the 68 Comeback Special.
